Welcome to PPPA, AKC Parent Club for Portuguese Podengo Pequenos
Welcome to the Portuguese Podengo Pequenos of America, Inc., the official AKC parent club for the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno. This club is dedicated to the preservation of this national breed of Portugal. Our members are united in providing education to all interested in this delightful breed. We follow the Standard written by the Country of Origin and always breed to this Standard.
All members are encouraged to record their Pequenos with the American Kennel Club Foundation Stock Service (FSS) to advance the breed towards AKC recognition.
This club desires to do everything in its capacity to introduce this amazing little treasure to the dog fanciers in the United States.
We invite you to fill out an application for membership and join all of us who are PPP fanciers.
